Baggy Pants make a big comeback!

Otomix manufacturer of fitness apparel and athlectic  shoes is seeing a revival of the baggy pant wore by bodybuilders worldwide. The baggy pant was originally sold in the 80’s by Zubaz, Crazee Wear, Platinum and Otomix. Over the holiday season Otomix sales showed a 40% increase just during the month of December. As of last week sales are still on the rise even in the slow economy. Otomix for spring will be adding a complete new selection of colors and patterns.

Mickey Rourke wins Golden Globe for “The Wrestler”

About 20 years ago  when founder  Mitchell Bobrow of Otomix Athletic Wear was sitting in his office and when a page came over the loud speaker “Mickey Rourke on line three”. Bobrow thought to himself , this is some kind of prank. So he answered the phone “okay who is this?”  Its Mickey Rourke, Bobrow immediately recognized his voice the introduction took place. Mickey wanted some of those cool Martial Arts Shoes. So Bobrow sent him a few pairs of shoes and before you know it celebrities from all over the world were calling for the shoes. Mickey had worn them in various print publications with designer clothing. That was the beginning of a great friendship.  Last summer Mickey called  Bobrow for some grappling shoes to train in for his new movie  ” The Wrestler” Bobrow attended the  premiere of the Wrestler last month with Mickey. Otomix congratulates Mickey Rourke on his Golden Globe for best actor.
